Terms of service
Version 2.0, effective 6 October 2026. These terms apply to every order placed on or after that date. The version in force when you ordered is the one that governs your order; we keep every earlier version and will send you the one you accepted on request.
1. Who we are
ValidFlight is operated by AMREXO s. r. o., Perličková 12490/17, 821 06 Bratislava – Podunajské Biskupice, Slovakia, Company ID (IČO) 57338159, Tax ID (DIČ) 2122687633, VAT ID SK2122687633, registered in the Commercial Register of the Municipal Court Bratislava III, section Sro, file no. 196373/B (“we”, “us”). Contact: [email protected].
“You” means the person placing the order. If you order for another traveller, you confirm you are authorised to provide their details and you remain our customer for all purposes under these terms.
2. Definitions
- Reservation — an unticketed booking held in an airline reservation system in the traveller's name, for which no ticket has been issued and no fare has been paid to the airline.
- Booking reference — the alphanumeric code identifying that reservation, which we pass to you exactly as our reservation provider supplies it to us.
- Hold — the period during which the airline keeps the reservation before releasing it because no ticket has been bought.
- Itinerary — the e-mail and the PDF document we send you setting out the reservation. The PDF is the document you present.
- Delivery — defined in clause 7.
- Plan — Standard (a single reservation) or an auto-renewing plan (7-day or 14-day), as described in clause 8.
- Service fee — the amount you pay us. It is a fee for our service and is not a fare, a deposit, or a payment to any airline.
3. What we sell
For a service fee we create, in the traveller's name:
- a genuine, unticketed airline reservation (a hold with a booking reference), delivered as an e-mail itinerary and PDF; and/or
- a genuine, cancellable hotel reservation on a free-cancellation rate, delivered as an e-mail confirmation and PDF voucher.
The reservation is real: it is created in a reservation system in the traveller's name and the booking reference we give you is that reservation's genuine reference. It is not an edited PDF, a mock-up or a sample document.
3a. What we guarantee
These are commitments, not marketing. If we break one, you are entitled to a refund under clause 11.
- The reservation is genuine. It is created in an airline reservation system in the traveller's name, by us acting as a travel agency, and the booking reference we give you is that reservation's real reference. It is never an edited PDF, a mock-up or a sample document.
- We deliver within 15 minutes, at any hour. Measured on every order that was not scheduled for a later date: the median is under five minutes and all of them arrived within fifteen.
- If we cannot create your reservation, your money comes back automatically. You do not have to ask and you do not have to argue. We refund in full, usually within minutes of the attempt failing.
- We confirm any reservation we issued, to you or to an authority that asks. Write to [email protected] with the booking reference and a person answers. That is the verification route we control, and it does not expire.
4. What we do not sell
So that there is no doubt, the fee does not buy, and we do not provide:
- a flight ticket, a fare, or any right to travel. No ticket is issued and the airline is never paid. A reservation cannot be used to board a flight.
- a paid hotel stay. A hotel reservation is held on a free-cancellation rate and is cancelled by us before its free-cancellation deadline.
- a decision by any authority. Whether an embassy, consulate, airline or border officer accepts a document is their decision and nobody can sell it. We supply the reservation; the decision stays with them (clause 13).
- an entry in an airline's online booking tool. Most airlines publish a booking there only once a ticket has been issued and paid for, so an unticketed reservation usually does not appear. That is how airline websites work, not a limit on what we supply — see clause 9 for how your reservation is verified.
- travel insurance, advice on immigration or visa requirements, or any regulated service.
5. How the contract is made
Your order is an offer. The contract is concluded when your payment is confirmed by our payment provider, at which point we begin performing immediately. Before you pay, you must tick the box confirming that you request immediate performance and that you acknowledge the consequence set out in clause 10. We record the fact that you ticked it, the exact wording shown to you, the language, the time, and the version of these terms in force; that record is evidence of your agreement.
6. Your information
You must give passenger or guest details exactly as they appear in the travel document, and a correct e-mail address. We deliver to the address you give us. If the address you type is wrong, delivery to that address is still delivery under clause 7, and we are not obliged to refund; in practice, where the address you used to pay differs from the one you typed, we send the itinerary to both, but we do not warrant that we will do so. A name that an airline rejects, an incomplete party, or a route the airline will not hold are matters of fact outside our control; clause 11 sets out what happens then.
7. Delivery
Delivery occurs, and the service is fully performed, at the moment we send the itinerary e-mail with the PDF to the address given in your order. This is usually within minutes of payment. Where you give us an appointment date, we create the reservation on the evening before that date (UTC) so that it is live on the day, and deliver it immediately on creation; the contract is still concluded on payment.
We keep a record of each delivery, including the time and the address. That record, together with the record under clause 5, is the evidence we rely on if a payment is later disputed.
8. Validity, release and renewal
A reservation is held for a limited period, after which the airline releases it because no ticket has been bought. The hold period is set by the airline and is typically between 24 and 72 hours. We tell you the release time we receive from our reservation provider; an airline may release a reservation earlier than that time, and may do so without notice. You should present the document while it is held, and you should plan your appointment accordingly.
On an auto-renewing plan you have a current reservation for the whole period you bought. Each time the airline releases one, we create a new one and e-mail you the new reference, so you are not left without a document. Your status page and PDF link always show the reservation that is live now — that is the one to present. A renewal may be on different flights, a different airline or a different routing if the original is no longer available, and there is a short gap between a release and the next reservation being created.
9. How your reservation can be verified
Every reservation we issue is real and held in an airline reservation system. Where it can be checked depends on two things, and neither of them says anything about whether it is genuine.
First, most airlines publish a booking only after a ticket is issued. An unticketed reservation therefore usually returns nothing in their online “Manage booking” tool. Of the carriers we work with, we have confirmed that four do display held reservations: Emirates, Air Canada, Singapore Airlines and Iberia.
Second, we book as a travel agency. For some reservations the airline issues its own locator, which you can use directly with the carrier. For others the reference is the one held in the reservation system we book through, and that one is verified through us rather than on the airline's website. Either way the reservation exists, and we confirm it on request — see clause 3a.
This clause is important and we ask you to read it.
Many airlines do not display an unticketed reservation in their online “Manage booking” tool. Most airline websites show a booking there only once a ticket has been issued and paid for. Searching with your booking reference may therefore return nothing, or an error such as “we were unable to retrieve your booking details”. Some airlines do display it; many do not; itineraries operated by two or more carriers are frequently not displayed by either of them.
This does not mean the reservation is missing and it does not affect its validity. The absence of an online display is a feature of how airlines publish information, not a defect in what we supplied. Airline and third-party systems are outside our control and we give no warranty about them.
The PDF itinerary is the document to present, and it is what embassies, consulates and airlines ask for as evidence of onward travel. A reservation not being visible on an airline website is therefore not a failure to deliver under clause 11 and is not a ground for a refund.
10. Right of withdrawal and its waiver
If you are a consumer, you would ordinarily have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason. Because this service is performed within minutes, you are asked, before paying, to request immediate performance and to acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. You give that request and acknowledgement by ticking the box described in clause 5.
The consequence is as follows:
- Before delivery — you may withdraw and we refund the fee in full.
- After delivery (clause 7) — the service has been fully performed with your express prior consent, your right of withdrawal is extinguished, and the fee is non-refundable.
- On an auto-renewing plan, withdrawal before the end of the plan does not revive the fee for reservations already delivered; we may retain an amount proportionate to what has been supplied.
Nothing in this clause removes a right you have under mandatory law.
11. Refunds
We refund the full fee, to the original payment method and without you having to ask, where we fail to deliver: that is, where no reservation is created and no itinerary is sent, for example because the airline system will not hold the route, dates or passenger details you gave, or because our provider cannot complete the booking. We also refund where you withdraw before delivery.
Outside those cases the fee is non-refundable once the reservation has been delivered. In particular, and without limiting clause 9 or clause 13, we do not refund because:
- the reservation is not visible on an airline's website or in another third-party system;
- a visa was refused, delayed, or an appointment was cancelled or moved;
- you changed your plans, your route or your dates, or you no longer need the document;
- you ordered more than once, or ordered by mistake, after delivery;
- the airline released the hold at or after the end of the hold period;
- a third party refused to accept the document.
Refunds we make are issued to the original payment method and normally reach you within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
12. Payment disputes and chargebacks
If you believe something has gone wrong, contact us first at [email protected]. We answer complaints and we correct our mistakes.
If you raise a chargeback or payment dispute instead, we will respond to your card issuer with the evidence described in clauses 5 and 7, namely your order, the acknowledgement you gave before paying, the time and address of delivery and the document delivered. Raising a chargeback for a reservation that was delivered, in circumstances where clause 11 states that no refund is due, is a breach of these terms, and we may recover the resulting fees and costs and decline to serve you in future.
13. Third-party decisions
Whether any embassy, consulate, airline, border authority or other third party accepts a reservation, and what documents it requires, is outside our control and remains your responsibility. Requirements differ by country, by authority and over time, and may change without notice. We do not advise on immigration or visa requirements. We are not liable for a visa refusal, a denied boarding, a missed appointment or any other decision of a third party.
14. Acceptable use
The document is supporting documentation for a visa application or as evidence of onward travel or accommodation. You must not present it as a paid flight ticket or a paid hotel stay, alter it, or use it to deceive anyone as to whether a ticket has been bought. You must not use the service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any airline's conditions of carriage. We may refuse or cancel an order, with a refund of the fee, where we reasonably believe this clause is being breached.
15. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with an order is limited to the service fee you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost travel costs, rebooking costs, accommodation, lost earnings or lost opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law; and if you are a consumer, nothing here affects your statutory rights.
16. Matters outside our control
We are not in breach of these terms where performance is prevented or delayed by something outside our reasonable control, including failure or suspension of an airline reservation system, of our reservation provider, or of a payment provider; sanctions or route restrictions; or a carrier declining to hold a reservation. Where such an event prevents delivery, clause 11 applies and we refund the fee.
17. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros and include VAT. You pay by card through Stripe or, where offered, in cryptocurrency through our payment provider. Your card issuer may convert the amount to your own currency at its own rate; that conversion is between you and your issuer. We may change prices at any time, but the price shown when you order is the price for that order.
18. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The version in force when you place an order is the version that governs that order, and a later change does not alter an order already placed. Each version carries the number and effective date shown at the top.
19. Complaints and disputes
Send complaints to [email protected]; we will respond within 30 days. If you are a consumer and are not satisfied with how we handled your complaint, you may turn to the alternative dispute resolution body Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia (Slovak Trade Inspection), Bajkalská 21/A, 827 99 Bratislava, www.soi.sk, which also supervises consumer protection. You may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
20. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic, and the courts of the Slovak Republic have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings there.
If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force.
